Q: Can you clean my rugs in my house?
A: Because rugs are constructed differently than carpet, lots and lots of water, special rug cleaning equipment, and cleaning solutions designed to be safe for the dyes found in area rugs must be used. This can only be accomplished in our rug care facility located in Naples.
Q: Do you give any guarantees?
A: We guarantee to never expose your rugs to cross-contamination in a wash tub. We guarantee to give your rugs our full attention while they are in our care. While we cannot guarantee that every pre-existing pet urine stain can be removed, we do guarantee complete pet urine odor removal with our pet urine odor control treatment.

Q: Are pads under my rugs really necessary?
A: Rug pads help extend the life of your rug. They absorb wear from footsteps, help keep rugs from suddenly shifting under foot, and filter gritty soil away from your floors. If your current rug pads are 3-5 years old or more, it’s time to replace them. More often if they become pet urine damaged.
Q: Do you do any repairs? Is it worth doing?
A: We see all kinds of vacuum damage on the fringe, pet chewed corners, holes, broken or loose edges – all kinds of repairs! No matter the problem, we will be happy to provide a free repair quote once your rug has been washed. You should note that some repairs may be slightly visible after completion, and we cannot guarantee a 100% color match, but we will get as close as possible. Prices vary depending on difficulty, and we cannot venture a guess without seeing your rug in person.
Q: What does fiber protector do?
A: Professional strength fiber protectors do an excellent job of allowing a spill to remain on the surface of the fibers for a limited window of time (10-15 minutes) to allow for spill removal. The additional benefit is better soil removal during vacuuming. Protectors do not last forever. They should be re-applied to your rugs after a professional cleaning, or after a couple of years of foot traffic.
Q: My vet suggested a particular product to use on my pet stained rug, but it made the dyes bleed. Can you fix it?
A: Over-the-counter cleaning products are far too harsh for the dyes used in hand made rugs. When these are applied to high pH stains like pet urine, it’s a recipe for disaster! Rugs with dye damage need to be specially treated with color removers and reducing agents to achieve even slight improvement in the affected area. This type of color correction is more an “art” than a “science” and the results cannot be guaranteed. We are able to provide a free estimate once we have seen the damage.
Q: Do you pick up and deliver? What’s the charge?
A: Naples Rug Washing offers free rug pick-up and delivery within Naples. To receive our 15% Cash-and-Carry Discount, you may drop off and pick up your rugs anytime our shop is open, or Friday & Saturday by appointment. Extra charges may apply for furniture moving, oversized rugs, or for pick-up and delivery outside of Naples.
Q: Can I store my rugs with you?
A: Rugs cleaned with us must be picked up or returned within 60 days from the date of completion of service. Anything left longer than 60 days will incur a $20.00 per rug monthly storage fee unless storage arrangements have been made with us in advance. All rugs placed into storage at Naples Rug Washing Company will first need to be washed, treated with a moth repellant, and wrapped.
